Early Experience in Pet Care
My career in pet care began in 2010 while working as a receptionist at an animal hospital. During those three years, I learned how to care for cats and dogs while supporting pet parents.
I learned so much about pet health from Dr. Horn and the staff at OC Veterinary Medical Center. Veterinarians, technicians, receptionists, and groomers all shared their expansive knowledge of veterinary science and helped me become an informed and sensitive pet care provider.
After I graduated college, I left the hospital to pursue a career in my field of study. Having a background in professional pet care allowed me to offer dog walking and pet sitting services throughout Orange County on a part-time basis while working my full-time job.
Happy Pumpkin Pets is Born
After several years, I was once again working in the pet industry. As brand manager for a pet food startup, I learned about nutrition from a pet food industry insider. I found so much joy in bringing healthy pet food options to dogs all over the United States. In 2020 my experience there came to an end, so I decided to pivot to full-time pet care and launched Happy Pumpkin Pets.
I’ve built a trusted small business that pet parents can count on, and I’m proud of all the wonderful connections I’ve made. Check out the reviews page to read some of the nice things my customers have said.
